Been open since 1986. This some of the best Mexican food around! We 😘 to visit when we come to the city. The food is always delicious and they are very consistent! Still as delicious 😋 today as it was then! The staff is always friendly. The restaurant and bathroom is always clean.

Their refried beans are amazing! I get the bean burrito with sour cream almost every time. I also love their nachos! Come support a locally owned business!

I've been going to Carlitos for probably 20yrs. Locally owned small business! I currently work with a couple of their past employees and they've never told me a bad story about people doing things to the food to the people that come in rude, or people they don't like. They've told me about how they would clean thoroughly every night when it was time to close, and how every morning they would make the salsa, cook the meat, etc. They inherently took pride in their work and the same could be said about everyone that has worked there and/or still does. Always polite, always helpful and patient with me when I don't quite know what it is I want to get that day. They're even happy to bring the food to the table! The food is good, too. They'll never score points for fancy plates and silverware, but that's not even necessary. The food itself is really good! I'd suggest the chicken taco salad and an order of cinnamon crisps. Be prepared to wear cinnamon and sugar! 10/10 would recommend. 3 out of 5 stars. Wouldn't change a thing. #HailNimrod
